There are many things to enjoy in Providence. We love the restaurants, the buildings and the parks.

  • We ate at Casserta Pizzeria on the back side of Federal Hill. They only serve pizza with a few toppings (cheese, pepperoni, sausage) and grilled italian sausage in bread. I think limiting the selection has allowed them to make some great tasting food!

  • With the Hasbro headquarters in Rhode Island, there are several Potato Heads throughout the state. This one is outside of Casserta Pizzeria. Poor guy has been lit on fire, had his arm broken off and stolen, his eyebrows stolen, his nose broken and who knows what else.

  • The first Baptist church in America - I guess they can say "1st Baptist America" as opposed to the first Baptist in a town or city. Kind of cool. The sign displayed - established 1638.
